Make the most of your next boating experience with the CDX-M10 marine CD receiver. This head unit features a front auxiliary input for connecting virtually any digital music player. You can also play a CD containing your favorite MP3 or WMA files, or just enjoy some radio programming. As it is a marine receiver, the detachable faceplate has UV coating and a conformal circuit board to help protect the radio from the elements. One little cable is all it takes to listen to your iPod, portable music player, or portable DVD player through your Sony Marine system (cable sold separately). No need to mess around with FM modulators to listen to your MP3 player in the car--the auxiliary input is built right into the face of the head unit, and even features an adjustable input level. All you need to do is plug and play. The faceplate is also where you'll see the one-line white LCD display and switchable blue/red key illumination. You can tilt it from 0 to 45 degrees for easy viewing/use. Play back all your favorite CDs, along with CD-R/RW discs. Better yet, why not burn a CD-R/RW full of MP3 and WMA files, for hours of music on a single disc? Dial it all in with Sony's EQ3 three-band equalization to get just the sound you're after. A UV Resistant front panel coating protects faceplate helps prevent discoloration from the sun, very important in marine applications. The sun's not the only damaging element out there... A conformal coating on the circuit board helps protect the electronic assembly from damage due to contamination, salt spray, moisture, fungus, dust, and corrosion, all standard fare in the harsh marine environment. The Sony Marine CDX-M10 delivers 52 watts of peak power to all four speakers for full-range, bass-pumping sound. If that 52 watts x 4 isn't sufficient, a user-selectable, 2V RCA preamp output with low-pass filter allows users to add and control additional amplifiers. Set to Rear or Sub depending on the appication. Sony CDXM10 Marine CD Receiver, Parts for Installation and Connections (1 Set), Documentation
